Lessons
Here at Resonance Music, we provide music lessons to students of all ages. Our goal here is to make artists not just musicians. There is a difference. All students will learn the importance of ear training, improvisation, and get the skills required to play well with others. With modern music changing everyday, so should our song options. Students can flourish by learning the tunes they know and love! This school will definitely allow kids and adults to have the most fun! All lessons are backed with jazz theory, no matter what style is learned! This is a musicians community, not just a school. Here we firmly believe performance is a huge part in the life of an artist. In addition to our methods of instruction, students may also train for NYSSMA and learn in styles of the Suzuki curriculum. Alfreds, Mel Bay, and other method books are also available at the students or parents choice.
Policy
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AS YOUR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT IS YOUR AGREEMENT
Students are required to pay for each month in advance. This will reserve their time slot each week. Lesson fees are due by the 10th of every month. Payments made afterwards will accrue a 15% late fee. If a student starts in the middle the month, fees will be pro-rated from the time they start, to the end of that month. Payments made are for four lessons. During months where there are five of a specific day, the teacher can then choose to take the extra day off, or work to use it as a future vacation day. Payments can be made by card via the invoice portal, cash or check. Upon registration, you are locked into the price for life. If you decide to stop lessons, prices may be increased when you return. Although there is no commitment other than monthly, please allow at least two weeks notice prior to canceling. If you do not give the proper notice, a deposit will be required when/if you decide to return. -THERE ARE NO MAKEUP LESSONS DUE TO YOUR UNAVAILABILITY-. Please take into consideration that teachers are available for your lesson time each week. If you are unable to get yourself or your child to the school, virtual lessons will be the only alternative. If a teacher cancels lessons, students will be eligible for makeups or monetary credit. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

-Half hour lessons per week are: $185.00/month
-45 minutes lessons per week are: $270.00/month
-1 hour lessons per week are: $360.00/month
